End of the Season Details

IMPORTANT NOTES:

Team and Individual Pictures will be available to pick up Monday and Thursday this week.

The last regular season events are on the website for registration. Rock Creek is due today (may have the opportunity for "Last Chance Registration" early next week if the event does not reach capacity). 6 & Under State, Elementary State and War of the Roses (GIRLS) are due Tuesday, February 25th. War of the Roses flyer from the tournament director has not been released--registration form on our website will be available as soon as I have details.

Practice this coming week (Feb 17, 18, 20) will be conducted as scheduled. Level 2&3 will have organized pre-practice workout during the Level 1 practices on Monday and Thursday.

As previously informed, we will be displaced from the armory February 24, 25, and 27 due to the Flint Hills Home Show. Our options for alternate practice location will be smaller and unable to handle our current practice group sizes. For this reason, we would request that only wrestlers competing at 6 & Under State, Elementary State, War of the Roses and the State Qualifiying Series attend practices February 24 - 27. Location and practice groups/times will be finalized late this coming week. For those not competing in these events, your last practice will be Thursday, Februrary 20th.

If you are done competing for the season, you may turn your singlet in at practice Monday (2/17) or Thursday (2/20) this week. If your last event is Rock Creek, we will make arrangements for singlet returns soon after. Team shirt and shorts are yours to keep.

Only wrestlers competing in the state series (district qualifier and state; divisions 8U through high school) will have practices beginning Monday, March 2nd.

The District III Championships, Saturday, February 7th, will be at Wamego High School. This will be run as a split format tournament (AM session: 12U, 14U, HS. PM session: 8U, 10U). The timing of the district seeding meeting is still being discussed by the district and may impact the entry deadline. Expect our deadline to be Thursday, February 27th for 8U-14U. High School division can sign up until weigh-in Friday, February 6th. No GIRLS division at District; can be entered directly into the girls division of the state tournament.
